Cate Walker

Principal Landscape Architect, Owner

Cate has a keen eye for detail and strives to ensure that every design meets the needs of the client, while also complementing each project’s architecture and surroundings.  Her multifaceted experience includes work in outdoor retail developments, medical facilities, the hospitality industry, mixed-use projects, streetscapes and urban design, educational facilities, parks and trails, residential planning, and private residential design. 

Cate joined the firm in 2019 and purchased it in 2021. She looks forward to building upon Northwest Design Studio’s excellent reputation for customer service and exceptional landscape architecture.

In her free time, Cate enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, gardening, and working at her pottery wheel.
